Dear readers,
Here you can find recipes and advice from an Indian-American couple sharing our homemade Indian and Indian fusion meals to the world.
We are Maeve and Kart, introverts at heart who want to be the next Julia Child of Indian food, as we offer a mix of American and Indian culture.
Our story goes like this:
Maeve was an American living her life without a clue how to even make basic spaghetti. Kart, having lived his whole life in India, a land that is defined by rich foods, was a natural cook from the start.
They met through letters, became penpals, then partners, and, of course, friends for life. As if they were in the movie You’ve Got Mail, they shared their thoughts and personal philosophies through written word. Though unlike the movie, neither lived in the same city. They didn’t even live in the same country or continent. And yet, they found a way to be together.
Long story short, they now live in India together, trying to combine two worlds and cultures into one. Maeve is learning how to cook authentic Indian meals and Kart supervises with a critical judgement of an expert chef. Together they offer genuine homemade Indian meals for the world.
Thanks for joining us!
